PGA Game Improvement Roadshow

Programme Description

A three year programme taking place throughout the UK between April and September each year visiting a minimum of 32 locations.

PGA qualified teaching professionals are present at each venue offering free advice and tuition to everyone who is interested. All equipment and instruction is provided free of charge and takes place in specially designed inflatable golf nets.

Visitors to the unit benefit from internet connectivity and the latest technology allowing access to information on golf clubs, coaching schemes and other golfing activities.

Programme Aims

Launched at the 34th Ryder Cup at the Belfry, the challenge is to reach, and then encourage, newcomers to consider taking up the sport in order to enable the PGA to find a new generation of potential players.

To give a minimum of 100,000 driving lessons per year to people of all ages.
